Summer 2008 Edition
Cornerstone United Reformed Church
London, Ontario, Canada
About Cornerstone URC
- What's in a name? Well, Cornerstone United Reformed
Church is above all a Christian church, ". . .
members of the household of God, having been built on the
foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
Himself being the chief cornerstone." (Ephesians 2:19b-20)
- The Church is referred to in the Bible as "the body
of Christ." From the very beginnings of the
Christian Church, individual congregations have depended
upon, and offered themselves to, other congregations for
the purposes of mutual support and accountability. The
group of churches with which Cornerstone has "covenanted,"
or promised to labour, is called the United
Reformed Churches in North America, or URCNA.
