Accepts serial or parallel data at up to 100,000 characters per second (parallel) from one or two computers, stores the data in its internal memory, then sends the data to one or two printers.
Can handle two data streams at the same time, or convert serial to parallel or parallel to serial. Switches let you select both computer and printer, or print to two printers at once.
